Community and Collaboration
We believe great choral music belongs to everyone. CCF partners with schools and nonprofits to expand access and inspire the next generation.
Student access & outreach

Spotsylvania High School “Knightingales” with CCF
Complimentary/discounted tickets and side-by-side performance opportunities are available.
Educational engagement is central to our mission. Annually, 100+ local students will be engaged through our programming, with free tickets distributed by fine arts teachers in Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Fredericksburg school districts.
Each year, CCF invites one local high school chorus to join in a featured collaboration, rehearsing and performing together at our Spring Season Finale Concert, providing young musicians with high-level performance experiences and exposure to a premier choral ensemble in their own community.
Community outreach

CCF’s performance at Jubilation
Bringing quality music and culture to the community wherever we can serve, from the FredNats games, free performances at local 55+ communities, holiday caroling in Market Square, and our annual participation at the St. George Episcopal Concert Series.
We are proud to be the first fine arts organization in our area to offer the VCA Passport Program to the community. As part of the program, we specifically welcome the 4,700 participants currently served by WIC Rappahannock Area Health District to come experience the arts at a significantly discounted price.
With our concert base at the centrally located Fredericksburg Baptist Church, we hope our audiences will partake in the historic Fredericksburg Main Street locally owned restaurants and businesses, as an extension of their concert experience.
Regional partnerships

Demonstrating time and again that there is no need to drive to Richmond or Washington, D.C., for quality, professional performances.
The Chorale regularly partners with other organizations in the area, bringing enjoyable, high-caliber choral music to every audience. Our concerts regularly feature local Fredericksburg musicians and instrumentalists, commission new pieces from Virginia-based composers, and historically represented the region in national choral organizations, such as the ACDA.
Past collaborations include the National Park Service, Stratford Hall, Fredericksburg Area Museum, the UMW Philharmonic Orchestra, Rappahannock Pops Orchestra, and the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra.
As a non-profit that relies on donations from local business sponsors and members, CCF also makes a point of hiring local businesses for professional needs, from website support to marketing materials.
