Bethany James is the accompanist for the Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg. At the age of 5, she fell in love with the piano. Her mother was her first piano teacher, and she knew from an early age that music would always be a part of her life. She started playing piano regularly at church at age 13, and it was there that she discovered the joy of serving others through music.
Bethany holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music Education from Bob Jones University. She has taught high school band, choir, handbells, private piano lessons, and elementary general music. She currently works in the music business industry and serves as an accompanist for local school districts. Helping people of all ages develop a lifelong appreciation and understanding of music is her passion!
In addition to piano, Bethany plays the alto saxophone, violin, cello, trombone, flute, and trumpet. Her husband plays the French horn, and their home is always filled with music.
Bethany has a website about her piano work here.
