Biographical Info

Maia Conrad earned a Ph.D. from the College of William and Mary and taught college history for 23 years on the Virginia peninsula before relocating to Fredericksburg. She sang with the Williamsburg Choral Guild for ten years and has been in Jewish and secular choirs most of her life. Maia has performed Jewish cantorial music since she was sixteen, and served as a cantor and tutor at Temple Beth El in Williamsburg, VA. She is a lay leader and singer at Beth Sholom Temple in Fredericksburg, VA, and works as a board-certified, inter-faith hospital chaplain. Maia joined the Chamber Chorale of Fredericksburg in 2018.
